The Boston Herald says a local woman has admitted tampering with as many as 10 bottles of Flintstones vitamins.
The paper says Denise Shannon, 38, told federal investigators that she replaced the children's vitamins with candy and then returned the bottles to area stores because she was angry that someone had tampered with vitamins she had purchased in 2004.
“The government believes that these were isolated incidents and that there is no evidence that any child was harmed as a result of Shannon’s actions,” Christina DiIorio-Sterling, a spokeswoman for federal prosecutors, tells the Herald in a statement.
The paper says it couldn't reach Shannon. The docket says she faces a felony charge of tainting a consumer product.
This woman deserves a job with Tamper-Proof R US.
